Essence Of Christmas

To me Christmas means a time of happiness towards everyone. It is a time when families and close friends come home from all over the world to be with the people they love. To most people family and friends come first in their lives, so this is obviously a very favored holiday. When it’s Christmas time, people exchange gifts often and take it for granted. This holiday is usually associated with receiving gifts. Personally, I think giving a gift is just as great as receiving one. Most of the time giving can be even more enjoyable. The whole idea of finding that perfect gift, making someone smile, and him or her realizing that you put that much thought into just one gift is just one way which Christmas brings happiness to everyone. They imagine seeing snow-covered houses lit up all along the street with their bright lights one trying to outdo another, and a large, fresh pine tree in their living room window covered with lights and bulbs with an angel perched onto the very top. When they come in the kitchen they smell the contagious aroma of their mother’s cookies baking. That is an example of a typical outlook on a normal Christmas. To me it’s not Christmas without the decorations or festive Christmas treats. Christmas time is my favorite time of year. I love when it’s time to shop for all those Christmas gifts for everyone. I love the red and green decorations, and my beautifully decorated Christmas tree sitting in my living room. I love the snow, when my grandma makes her gingerbread cookies, and the great music. But most of all, I love this time of year because I get the chance to be with my family and friends while I enjoy everyone’s Christmas cheer during this wonderful time of year.

EQUAL RIGHTS, EQUAL OPPURTUNITIES

Essentially an organizations equal opportunities policy document sets out its commitment to fairness, and guidelines on how it will deal with issues relating to equal rights and equal opportunity. The policy should clearly state that its policy applies to everyone in its organization regardless of race or social background. Having a written policy can assist a company or organization from any future legal action by employees, by showing and proving that it has taken reasonable steps in trying to curb discriminatory issues within its organization. The policy statement is an assurance to a companies staff that of its workplace policy to diversity and that equal employment is important to it. It will state its code of practise and how it intends to tackle discrimination and prejudice based on race, religion, gender and how it intends to promote equal rights for all its employees. It will give details of a reporting system, setting out how aggrieved parties can go about putting in complaints, and how it will support all parties involved in any disputes. Another of its core aims should be to promote harmony amongst its workforce. Policies should have a Statement of Principles that covers all areas of employment practise including recruitment training and promotion. As regards recruitment the statement should stress that recruitment is based on merit and that only those applicants with the most suitable talent and skills will be successful. Its equal opportunities policies will state a procedure to resolve disputes and promote the participation of minority groups and women in its organisation. The diversity policy should also name a Designated Officer in the company, as well as have details of the definition of discrimination, and the objectives of the policy, just to name a few points.

climate change

What is climate change? How does it affect our daily life? How can we prevent the climate change? As a student, what can we do to save our mother earth? We all know that our world is suffering various climates each time like the very hot weather we had here in our country but sometimes our climate goes cooler. We as a student can help in the prevention of climate change that can affect us in our future life. Me as a student, I can help in the prevention of climate change by being a responsible one. By cleaning our surroundings and encouraging others to help us in planting many trees. Those are only simple things to do but a very big help to prevent climate change. Our planet is surrounded by a blanket of gases which keeps the surface of the earth warm and able to sustain life so we must save our mother earth and prevent climate change.

My Reflection

In I.C.T , I learned more things and I had also another good and bad experiences and memories during our second grading period. During the days of our second grading period, we met our new practice teacher and I noticed that she’s a nice a funny teacher. In our second grading, ma’am Melany took over our class and she taught us many lessons like, the parts of a web browser, page address, basic HTML, kinds of tags and she also taught us about the tag attributes and we had also an activity according to this topic and we had our exer 1 to exer 7, we also post our blog about the theme of the Filipino month celebration, modern hero, my teacher, my hero and the theme of the science month celebration. Those are the things and lessons that we had tackled during second grading period. When the next grading periods grading come, I will be more serious in my studies and I will make my grades to become higher.

Scientricity:Energizing Science clubbers for sustainable energy

Every year in the month of September we are celebrating the science month and the theme for this month is “Scientricity: Energizing Science clubbers for sustainable energy. Scientricity was combined by a two words science and electricity. Science is a systematized body of knowledge based on fundamental truths and gathered facts or data while electricity is the natural force produce light, heat, chemical decomposition and we also use electricity in our daily life to make our work easier and faster. Being a student we can sustain energy and we can do it by consuming less electricity, instead of wasting it we should use it more important things so that we can sustain more energy. We must also know the importance of electricity in our daily life. We should also be responsible enough to save more energy so that there will be no lackings of electricity.

MY TEACHER MY HERO

What is the first thing that comes in your mind when you hear the word teacher? for me, the first thing that comes in my mind is the hero.A teacher is the hero of all the student. Every September 5 to october5 we are all celebrating the NATIONAL and WORLDS TEACHERS DAY and we celebrate it by means of contest.Being a teacher is such a very hard profession in life.Without teachers there will also be no pilots,engineers,nurses and doctors, so teachers are very important to us.I treat my teacher as my heroes because I'm idolizing them and I wish I could be like them also in the future.they are also the one who help us in achieving our goals in life.they don't only teach us lessons but also the good moral for us to be a good citizen in the future.I also consider them as my second mothers and fathers because they are next to my parents who takes us care everyday when we are at the school. In celebrating the National and worlds teachers day i want to greet all teachers a happy happy teachers day and thank you.

My Modern Hero

For me , my modern hero is the first boy of my life and that is my father, it's not because he save my life from danger but he takes a very special part in my life. The person whom i will never forget until the rest of my life. I treat my father as my hero because my father is such a good person, a loving and caring father to us and he is very hardworking , I can see all the sufferings and sacrifices he's doing just to send us in school and to buy our necessities and I wish I could pay back all of those. Even though he's busy he still find a way to bond with us and I am proud of him. You're not only my father but you're also my hero nothing can take you away from us because you're all that we need. You're the greatest father and promise I'll be the greatest daughter of your life. You're the best. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH and thank you so much.

Tatag ng Wikang Filipino Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino

Every month of August we are all celebrating the "Buwan ng Wika".We celebrate it by means of contests.In our school we celebrate it with a theme,Tatag ng Wikang Filipino Lakas na Pagka Pilipino.Being one of the citizen of our country it is my responsibility to use and take care our official language and as a sign of respect to MANUEL L.QUEZON which was called as the Ama ng Wikang Pambansa.Language is very important to us because if there's no language,I think we can not understand each other,we will not be able to express the feelings or thoughts that we want to say and all the words that we are saying is a language.The Filipino language is one of the national language because it is used by many people even though they are not a Filipin o .Language is very important to us so must be proud of our own and we must used,love and care for it.There is all so a saying about language by DR.JOSE RIZAL "ANG HINDI MARUNONG MAGMAHAL SA SARILING WIKA AY HIGIT PA SA HAYOP AT MALANSANG ISDA".

How my First Grading Period Was?

In ICT IV, I learn how to make a blog,I learn more about computer.I learn about what blog is and I have also the feeling to learn more about blog.Another is I am now more interested when it comes to computer.There are also problems and challenges that I have encountered,for example is in the first time,I don't know yet how to create a blog account sometimes also I don't know what I am doing,and it is a challenge for me because I am not still aware of this social networking site.I address this challenges as my experiences in entering the world of social networking site. this coming second period I will study my lessons very well to lessen the challenges that I had encounter this past grading period.

SONA

It has been two years since you were proclaimed as our president.this was also your third SONA.In your two years I cant say that you had implemented all the projects that you say but according to your third SONA,those are the things that you've done,roads are straighten and level and properly paved,relief goods are ready even before the storm arrives,rescue service are always on standby and the people are no longer left to fend themselves.In just two years we had achieve a town that has and will be lighted,the highways,bridges,airports,trains and ports you've built;fair contacts;the peace in our cities and our rural areas;every classroom, desk, and books assigned to a child.You also talk in your SONA about the lacking of the equipment of the air force,coconut industry.And in your two years you have fixed many roads and the improvement of infarstracture.

Pagkain ng Gulay Ugaliin Araw-Araw itong Ihain

    Eating vegetable and fruit everyday is very important to us, it is not because we can save money if we buy vegetables but it is more healthier than the other  food.Vegetables can also give us the  energy and the vitamins that we need in order to avoid diseases. It is also useful to  us in making our body strong and healthy. Vegetables are  not only for our dish but also a snack.And the most important,the vegetables as a medicine.Vegetables are more safe to us because it is natural medicine.We must also eat and serve vegetables and fruit in  our daily meal so that we can be strong enough to face our challenges that we will encounter.       

Letter to the President

Dear Mr.President,
               First of all, I want to greet you a pleasant day and I hope you are okay.
Being a leader of one country is such a hard position because you are handling all the problems of our country. In your 2 years of being a president I can't say that you've done all the things that you've promised when you were still in the process of campaigning and I understand it because its not so easy to be in your position and they were still many years to do those promises you've made.Mr.President I want to say thank you for making our country to become a progressive country and please continue to make it more peaceful and beautiful place to be.I am hoping that you'll make all your promises and I'm hoping for the best that you can do for coming years that you will be our president.
